s2ksimon why would you want to remove the product? Don't waxes just ware off over time and then you reapply?

you want to take off the old crap using a claybar. usually you want to strip the old crap off by washing the car with dish detergent, then using a claybar you will take the rest of it off. now you will have a clean surface to apply your first layer of wax, and you can proceed from there.
