That's fine if you can't help it, just as riding a bus is. But why do it if you don't have to?
haha ya kind of goes both ways "why do it [drive your s2k] in the winter if you don't have to?"

Like I was saying before.. It all comes down to preference and maybe even long term goal.

Because it's enjoyable. But I guess I (sort of) see your point. No damn way would I do it though.

How is driving an S in the winter enjoyable though? Driving a performance vehicle with very little practicality would never really be enjoyable in winter, at least I don't think?

Not a chance. And in the meantime, you've been driving a POS.
So you are saying that cars with low KM, never driven in winter, and extra clean wont sell for $1,000 - $3,000 more?

That is the price of a decent beater. Nowhere near a POS. Accords, Camrys, Acura EL's. Heated seats you name it.

Let's say for sake of argument that you're right about saving $1000 to $3000 (but I don't think you are). You're turning around using that money to drive a beater. I don't get the logic.

Clearly you haven't tried it. You should.

Now take into concideration that with a beater you:
- have cheaper insurance
- would rather have a beater be hit or damaged than your S if that were to happen
- more practical
- easier to drive / blind spots
- dont have to let salt on your S2000
- comfortable - get a nice beater with heated seats (accord, cammry, el, etc)
- only have to drive it 3 - 4 months
Using this logic, why don't you just drive a beater year-round?

can't you just accept the fact some people want to drive it in the winter and some people don't? not everyone wants to even know they know its very capable.

let it go

We're having a discussion on the internet. Imagine that. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Some people.
