I have the Blizzak MZ-01's on.... So far the dry handling is pretty good.

Not sure how they are in the snow yet, but i have a feeling that's not too far away

Simon keep us posted on that winter drag fest.

the MZ-01's are the most aggressive of the bridgestone bunch....but they don't make them anymore.

there's a tire dealer that still has a few sets (16's) if anyone is interested...

jasonass, the handling is pretty good b/c they're over inflated....take some air out, or they'll wear out by tomorrow.

put them to 32 psi all around.....they're probably at 35-36 right now.....

(that's why they're wearing down the middle in the rear)

yeah fiddle with them.....at 32/32, the ride is VERY mushy, but you'll plow through anything.

That is exactly what Jason is looking to hear after just buying your car.

you're right....when he's driving in a foot of snow, staring at SUV's in ditches, he'll remember my words.....he may even thank me.

Eventhough I drive the Dakota 4WD in the Winter I have to laugh at the fools who drive other SUV's and 4WD pickups like they are gods of winter/ice driving. I can't count the number of them I have seen in the ditches. They will stand there and expect me to pull them out, all I do is ask if they have a tow strap and that they hook it up to their vehicle, that way if I pull the bumper off it's their fault for not finding a proper attachment. Most of them say that I should hook them up and I just tell them no. They don't want to get dirty and wet in the snow, and want to keep the police from being involved, so they won't call a real tow truck.

we actually will, when we go to winter drag fest.. I think my idea which I stole from the prairie redliners about having a Winter Drag Fest will be a good educator for winter driving, while having some fun.
