Rob, I understand and I agree with you for the most part.
So, I'll tell ya what. Next year when I'm autox come on up. I'll put my S2000 up against a 1973 VW Bug and we'll see just how little the car has to do with it...

Some cars a limited by the driver, some drivers are limited by the car.
I'm pretty sure I can push my Impreza to it's full limit, I'm pretty sure I can't push my S2000 to it's full limit (without spinning or f'ing up).
Heck I can get to the limits of my impreza on the street (4 wheels slides) etc, at low speed.
But as Doug said, even at the Glen the 350z is good. I won't disagree it's heavy and such, but it's no tank.

You're starting to sound like Nimesh, Doug
My statement was obviously meant within reason. Of the assortment of cars you see at a typical autox, it's the driver that's going do well - not the car. I haven't seen too many '73 Bugs at autoxes. I have seen plenty of Neon's, Fiero's, Civics, Z06's, Insight's etc. that have gotten FTD...

So do you think, if say ...... Some random person took an S2000 out and then a 350z out, he would do no better and get virtually the same time?
Possibly, I suspect the Z might be easier to handle as the S2000 tends to snap oversteer
hahaha I'll stop now.

NO no no, TPM is very bad. You can't change your tires / wheels it's a pain and very expensive.
Some are retarded and go off when you are 1psi too low. Seriously not worth it.

Ofcourse you can change your wheels! Its just a little cordless thingy in the rim. The only thing is, you take off the stock rims, you loose your ability to read your tire pressure without ever lifting your ass off the seat, thats all. ...and tires have nothing to do with it...
lol, and what exactly goes off?? cause nothing goes off in my car... no wait... stupid VDC , but never mind!
Its not like there is some big ass red light that starts flashing in your face. Your psi can change up and down and you won't know about it unless you actually scroll thru the functions and look at the psi readings. I think the only time you get a psi warning is if it goes really really low
Hey! Come out to the meet on Wed!!!!!!!

Haha, ok well on the RX8, there is a stupid red light or whatever colour it is that blinks when it goes down 1 or 2 psi. If you change rims you have to buy new sensors at $400 a pop, or the light is on constantly. Sounds like the Z has it built into some other function like the NAV??
I know a guy with an MDX with the function as well and he finds it annoying it yells at him all the time and he tried to get new rims but was told the crazy cost of having the sensors......
So you could change rims and then disable the light, but then what's the point of having the feature anyways?
I'd come out to the meet if I didn't live in Ottawa
