See if your work or union has an insurance company discount.
I pay $1100 for my S2000 with my work discount.
Everytime they switch, I switch, and I always save big.

29, $1250, clean record.

I was 21 when I had my first S2000, and I was paying $8000/yr I kid you not.

multi discount is a big one -- cuz essentially what most are paying for one car, for a few hundred bucks more, i'm insuring both cars.

you have a winter beater, so that should be your multi discount right there!

i insure both cars fully year round, but i take the S off liability for the winter (keep fire and theft) ... that saves me about $100 / month
Chinese brutha always knows how to save money ar!

Dennis, you need to link me up with your insurance info dude, I think I am gettin' ripped off on my house insurance big time.

I will msg u on MSN.

also where you live makes a HUGE difference. I'm in Scarlem - the highest insurance rates in Canada according to my StateFarm broker. don't know if he was kidding, he's not known to kid in the 10 yrs I've been with him.
