29 here (30 in a week), clean record w/ TD insurance + corp discount and i still pay $1920/yr, full coverage for 2002 "stock" s2k, listed at only 10k km/yr (pleasure). reason being it's that much....postal code, argh! that has a lot to do with rates.

what's it going to cost you with your "new" postal code?

i'm 2 yr. older than you and i'm no where near that... don't you have multiple car discount with them?

and you're also married thus cheaper. haha yeah new postal code i hope drops it down to youuuur kinda rates

nope, no multiline discount, but once i move i think i will look into that...ill have to see if the home/auto discount from TD (or if i change, company 'x') will be less than my current Corp. discount because of where i work....

^ home + auto discount w/ TDMM = 5% (so for me, it works out to as if i get home insurance for "free")

multi discount is a big one -- cuz essentially what most are paying for one car, for a few hundred bucks more, i'm insuring both cars.

you have a winter beater, so that should be your multi discount right there!

i insure both cars fully year round, but i take the S off liability for the winter (keep fire and theft) ... that saves me about $100 / month

I have to pay like just over 2K for both of my cars.
How much of a discount do you get for having two cars?
