I'm 25, I was suspended for a couple years due to $14,000 in tickets. got my licence back like 2 years ago, will be eligable to get G class this summer. I pay $6843.00/year...yeah I know, insane right? thats what I get for financing a $22,000 S2000 through Alphera finance. sucks ass...oh my insurance is so high cuz the finance company wants $1,000,000.00 liability, if anyone knows a good insurance company that would be cheaper, please let me know.
Try TD Meloche Monnex. I'm with them for almost 8 yrs, paying $1025 a year for my 01 AP1, full coverage with $300 deductible for both collision and comprehensive. We have multi-product discount with our house and other cars insured with them, and I'm 35 with pretty much clean driving record.

TD will give you discount if you're an alunmi from UofT, Western, or other universities, have to check with them for the list of schools.

They offered me slightly cheaper insurance, but turned them down because I know there customer service is horrible.

I also heard some horror stories about TD too, but so far it's been pretty good to me, we only had 1 small claim for the 8 yrs that we're with them, and service was prompted. I guess it's just luck of the draw.
