Gloves are always at the ready just in case I gotta touch something "unpleasant".

I get aggravated when driving a nice car in the winter. Salt, rock chips, etc.
LOL - if you're worried about a $500 bumper, you got bigger issues....

Dude, rule #1 of being a newbie, is to show respect, don't be cocky, and don't call senior members names, or belittle them. Between plyrs3 and xviper they have over 2500 days, not to mention mindcore, and a raft of other TO members. That equals well into 10 years combine experience. You need to do the newbie dues before you can talk out of your ass.

I agree - I need to be able to get over the hump of ice/snow created by the snowplow. If only I lived a bit further south... *sigh*
build a ramp over the hump

If your S2K is your only car then getting good snow tires, a hardtop and driving it all winter is your option. I'm sure the S2K is a capable winter car if driven properly.

I have a company 4x4 truck so I chose to drive that all winter instead and save the S for spring, summer and fall.

My preference would be an STI if it was to be my only car as I think the AWD and traction control, extra space may come in handy (yes, I'd get winter tires as well).

YOU S2K winter drivers are all INSANE, CRAZY, and off your friggin rockers for driving a low, rwd, small sports car in the middle of winter!!!

But I'm sure you're enjoying driving it more than a minivan. And in the eloquent words of Rodney King (LA riots), "can't we all just get along."

how does driving a low, rwd, small sports car in the middle of winter qualifies us all INSANE, CRAZY, and off our friggin rockers?
