Why does the autoshow suck so much?

I did NOT see that truck there. I didn't see any trucks in the Honda section.
There were a few cars that I would have liked to see that they didn't have. would it have been soooo hard to take all the cars from Detroit and ship them to T.O???
90% of the cars were locked
It wasn't BAD but it's more of a sales show, most of the open cars are ones currently on the lots and they have sales drones swarming. They had like 10 Magnums!

Its a tiny Chevy Avalanche.
We all know how thats changed the face of big trucks heh
Its ok if you want a useless bed, little to no offroading ability and rubber floors.
For me I like the rubber flooring, makes things easy to clean.

Number of reasons:
1) First pick up truck ever to have an independent rear suspension. Even Vince's 4Runner still uses a live axle back there. Nothing like keeping around 100 year old technology dating back to horse drawn carriages, is there?
2) First mid sized pickup truck to be based on a monocoque chassis. Notice there's no massive gap between the truck bed and the passenger compartment, unlike EVERY other truck out there.
In short, it'll haul a load and you won't have to compromise on the everyday ride and handling charateristics just to own a pickup.
Plus it's going to have a 3.8l i-VTEC engine with about 270hp and 270lb/ft of torque. They've already stated it will have enough towing capacity to tow an S2000 on a flatbed trailer. What more do you need?
In short, not much to dislike about this thing, it's going to sell like crazy.
