Default When/where 1st time you hit V-Tec in the S2K?

In light of the many new S2K owners this year anticipating hitting Vtec for the 1st time, it brings me back to the first time I opened her up!

The km's read 1015, and I was on an empty stretch...Nervous as hell, I saw this as an opportunity to open it up.......Hit Vtec and took it up all the way to 9000 RPM in second gear before shifting to third...AGAIN ...up to 9000 RPM before hitting 4th...Then slowed right down...Heart was pumping a 100 miles a minute! ...It took awhile getting use to it at first as everytime I opened her up, I couldn't help but feel I was hurting the car! It takes some getting use to but now I know it was MEANT be driven hard.

Anyone else remember the 1st time hitting V-tec?

I couldn't wait till the car was broken into....
Around 300km I ripped it up
guess I was too happy with the new S2k....
What a rush...
It seems the rush is going away though....
Does this mean I need to Charge it?

Im concerned here. I would have thought that this thread would be about the first time you CAME OUT OF VTEC AND CRAPPY IT WAS.

I try to stay in it as much as possible.

First time was turning off of Davis drive during my test drive... (bought used... 36K)

The better question is when is the 1st time you've VTECH'ed for more than a 20 second stretch !!!

Anyone actually try this outside of a racetrack?
