/\ Thanks, I considered those bt they were'nt right for my car.
I saw a set of Work rims with the below specs and wonder if they would fit an S2K without fender mods?
17x9 +38 5x114.3
BTW - how cn you tell if the will fit? By the offset?
Thanks guys,

You can tell by the offset. Generally OEM fenders need high offset wheels.
Use this link to calculate how much more poke you'll get with various rims (not exact but a good indication)
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
OEM AP2v1 Wheels 17" x 7.0", +55 offset front and 17" x 8.5", +65 to give you a starting number. Alternatively you can use 17 x 7.5 + 50 and 17 x 9 + 63 as a starting number

Thanks! I was always confused as to how you guys can tell so quickly.
Wow, it seems not many popular non oem wheels fir the S2k except CE28's.
I guess I'll get start to get comfy with my Ap2V1's. I do like them but would like to have an alternate set of wheels as well.

There are more wheels than just CE28's.... Besides, the "s2000 friendly" CE28's are ugly. Only the concave faces look good (lower offsets only)
IMO, TSW Nurburgring's are a great choice if you're looking for easy fitment, good value, and good looks. They are strong and not crazy heavy. You will be able to get them to fit without a roll, as long as you're not slammed. I think new sets are around $1200 shipped from 1010tires (local)?
RPF1's are a nice option too, but you'll need to roll fenders, even with their higher offset options (i.e. 9 +45 rear, 8+45 front, 7.5 +48 front, etc).
There are a lot of options, just depends on how much you want to spend. What's your budget?

/\ Thanks for the suggestion. You're right, they're not too bad. To be frank, I feel like NFR is a little tougher to match with a decent set of rims. I don;'t really like the gold/bronze match with NFR so It appears gunmetal or glossy chrome is the best option. But, it has to be the right rim. Alas, my search continues.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Why are you so against rolling/cutting/flairing your fenders? Maybe wide stance isn't your thing but to have semi flush fitment and being significantly low, your going to need a roll. I know danio does rolls or bring it to a body shop an get them flattened paper thin. You gotta pay to play

LOL.
The white SSR's in our classifieds section would fit without having to touch your fenders.
