it is different. that was about something that the world must not forget. it is not like this Karla movie will prevent such things from happening in the future. not saying that schindlers list will either, but at least you can say that based upon the holocost that nations will probably better react to something that apears to be heading in the same direction.

Karla is purely a look at an isolated incident that will certainly repeat itself. what are people going to say after they see it? Im going to keep an eye on their neighbours?
LOL

read your first post...your 2nd post has none of the points you mentioned in your 1st post.

- families having gone through enough
- reliving the crimes
- what's worse than rape and mutilation

Then why not apply this argument to every single movie based on a real murder case(s)? There are so many out there! All the serial killer movies, jack the ripper movies, etc etc. There are real victims involved in each of those cases. The only difference about the Carla thing is the amount of attention this event received and the amount of public it's politically correct to be outraged views attached. I don't see this to be any different then many other tragic cases out there. It's just become a media circuis.

If this movie was made 10 yrs from now, I bet it wouldn't be an issue, but the fact she just got out this summer makes the issue a little sensitive.

Won't Don't Shan't see it.

I have no real problem with the premiss of making a film like this, it's certainly been done before. ie. In Cold Blood (Robert Blake) HAHAHAHAHA. Monster etc.

However, from the reviews if read the film/script/acting/ is barely a level above the video that the twisted pair made themselves.

Not to mention the timing was a little to contrived to coincide, more or less, with the bitches release.

Direct to Video, Direct to Garbage with it!

I actually have a hand written letter from here that she sent years ago wanting to buy a dog.

How much does that up my already high creepy factor?
