From what I saw, it was a SD broadcast in 16x9 format - TSN has been showing this format all year. Its a step forward...still not, ahem, NASCAR picture quality, not yet anyway.
And yes, that Kubica crash had Zanardi written all over it when I saw it....glad he's ok
