Default What Are You Using For Internet - Res Phone Line

I am so pissed right now at Bell, I'm ready to pull the plug on the whole damn system at home. Sympatico/long distance/basic phone.

What are you guys using for the above services? Costs, etc. I'd really like some input. Cogeco is my cable option, anybody using them?? How about L.D. service, and alternate local phone service??

Just screwed me on my Sympatico HSLD bundle. I believe they want to get people off this bundle and have increased the price and added a $10.00 modem charge that I was never charged before.

Who in their right mind would pay $10.00 @ month year after year, for a $50.00 modem???

I was told that even if I bought my own modem the $10.00 was a fixed charge.

The President will be contacted next week. I may make Vince look like a Stepford Wife by the time I'm done.

Oh wait, he already does!

City Fido, Rogers Extreme High Speed. No Bell resi line, although my tenant has one just in case, no DSL. Cable speed about 4000-5000Kbps down, 700-800 Kbps UP.
Not sure what Cogeco offers but it sure beats DSL for me anyday.
