What do you Toronto owners do with your S2K during the winter?
Hello all,
I'm interested in buying an S2000 in the spring, but I'm just weighing the pros and cons right now. I'll be trading in my 2001 VW GTi for it, and putting up some cash on top. I was just wondering what my fellow T-dot people are doing with their S2K's during the winter. I'll be driving it year round, so I'll be slapping some snows on it! What's everybody else doing?

I was reading that suing Honda Canada thread. From what I gathered after reading S2KI.com extensively for these past few days, is that the S2K is faily reliable. That thread scares me because I'll be buying a used S2000 for sure, can't afford a new one.
Anybody know what I should look out for when inspecting used ones? That thread about suing HC is scaring me. When I have to spend $40k on a used vehicle, the last thing I need is reliability issues. Anybody care to share their 2 cents?
Thanks, Spec K.

Forget that thread. S2K's are relatively solid.
Transmission - make sure the TSB's (technical service bulliten's) are done to the car
Spark Plug - Another TSB.
Rear Window - Mine is so foggy I can't see out of it. See if you can get one that's not so crap, unless it's a glass 2002.
I can't think of anything else, really. The car is pretty good besides that I think, although there are many on this board who may have other ideas.

The car is reliable - the reason behind the suing is all about the lack of SUPPORT.
Most issues have been resolved, and the dealerships have been good about it, however Honda Canada has been quite slow with delivering parts... not just quite slow, VERY SLOW and it has been like this since the S2000 arrived.
The car is GREAT.
