Well it looks like THEOLDMAN & his OLDLADY
may be on the way to becoming Grandparents. Our son's Girlfriend is expecting and is about 3 months or so along right now.

Thanks everyone!
We have already said we WON'T be built in babysitters. We had to use sitters and daycares when Rory was a baby. It's our turn to play now. Livia is getting an Associate Degree in Child Welfare or some such thing, she wants to open a Daycare, and she is currently working in one, so she may get a break on daycare. She also does a lot of babysitting for some of the daycare clients after hours.

we have a saying in our culture:
your children are your principal...but your grandchildren are the INTEREST on that principal.
our parents couldn't give a rats ass about us...but the slightest sniffle or sneeze from their grandkids, and they're calling in the national guard!
it's very funny, but even more heart-warming...
they'd do anything for our kids.
