It's never too early but this time it was. I went by the Blue Ridge Parkway on Tuesday Feb 2 at Asheville hoping to check a bit of the road but besides a fair bit of snow built up at the entrance there was a big CLOSED sign up. Oh well. drove the rest of the way home from Daytona FL in my freshly purchased 2004 Suzuka Blue baby. Did get some fun roads in on the south end of Georgia but basically had to stay on the Interstate to avoid the snow covered roads. Gotta do the RIV stuff yet. Anyone come up with a good set up for DRL. This is my second imported S2000 (I am a bit of a buy sell addict) and I did not like the job the CDN tire store did on the first one.Wires running across the front of engine compartment in plain site is not my idea of cool.

Even in April you need to be careful on some of those roads - you're in the mountains, so snow (and other unpleasant things on the road) isn't an impossibility, depending on where you are.

We're in as well. We're actually thinking about heading down (from Windsor) on Tuesday after work and possibly crashing in the Cinci area, then heading to Alcoa or Fontana on Wednesday morning. My friend has never been down to the Dragon, so it would be cool to show her as much of the area as I can. We'll sort out the details as we get closer to the date.

How long of a drive is it? and how many days do you go for .. you should have more details on the actual event.

yea, it's about 12 hours. Dont get me wrong thats a looong fking time to be in the s2k but i'm really tall and I did it last year without cruise control no sweat!

It's official - I'm taking a major detour on the way down there and taking a week off rather than 2 days
