yea it would be sweet if we could all have cottages together. I know Ian was thinking of bringing his STI down as well... and having fil drive it or fil drive his s2k.

either way, the more people the better.
This time I will be sure to hook up my cruise control though I got really good at pushing the gas pedal and brake with my left foot on this past trip

Id so be in but im already planning a trip to go down with my friends with our bikes, we'll be trailoring them down but I may take the s2k assuming I can get a hitch for it.

I just want to get the general sense about what this is all about other than hitting the dragon with a ton of S2K's. Maybe you could share some stories from last year if you went?

Go to the forum, there's tons of Info about the event. As for price, I have a bad memory, but I do remember it was dirt cheap for the accomodation. I think it turned out to be $80US for two nights in the cottage. That's with 6 guys in one cottage. Chris, Nick, or Ian chime in if I am wrong.

ya thats about right. I think it might have even been $60bucks for the two nights. We also rented a hotel room in alcoa that was around 70 or 80 for the night split 2 ways.

There is a registration fee for the actual event but that will give you lunch and dinner etc so you really only need $ for gas, booze, and a little more for spending money and however much you want to eat.

I don't have exact breakdown of costs from last year but I do remember only putting a couple hundred bucks in my pocket and taking off.

Chris, this is a little off topic but I might have one hell of a time getting rims for the widebody. Not hard, just timeline wise. It's not like it's common sizes. I want to go 18x9 +20 offset, 18x10 +18offset. Not exactly common.

Thanks for the info guys, now i need to decide if i can make this happen. Might be a little tricky as this past year they JUST finished sweeping the roads in the middle of April, and i do have final exams mid April as well.

Ya I have been looking on there forums, but not much yet. But I just checked out those ones that you posted a link for and I love them. I pm'd the guy to see if he still has them. Those would look badass on the car.

The only problem I see with those rims though is that I will be running a non-staggered setup. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, handling wise.
