And in case I give anyone a false sense of driving fast through this area as being easy. The ambulance sits at the end of the Dragon to speed up response time as they haul out 5 or 6 riders a day. While we were running the Cherkola parkway we passed a wrecked sport bike that the riders were picking up from the road and 5 miles on they were airlifting out another rider with a broken back and neck. Going fast has its risks. As far as I know the S2000 group made it out in one piece.

I passed you in the park just outside Cherokee, as you were walking your tripod back to the car, and then you passed me maybe a dozen miles further along as I was walking back to the car after trying to get a good shot of the snakey road from the higher elevation of that great but congested section of switchbacks.

Sorry I missed the chance to say hello during the meet. Zenairdave and I, on the other hand, found a lot of opportunities to compare notes -- during the Monster Roll-out and at the banquet that evening. (There's a great shot of you and your wife in another thread in the WTD forum, by the way, Dave -- taken, I think, during one of the group drives, maybe the group blast through The Dragon. You got any buyers for that car yet?)
