So where was everyone? I only spotted one ontario plated s2k. He was in a silverstone ap2. I ran into him alot of times even on the way home, we were both on the smokey mountain roads.

Mocky, were you one of the guys sitting by the fire pit?

I had an awesome time! We met lots of nice people and loved tearing up the roads!
I saw one or two ON licence plates. GPW and a BB. Did you guys drive down together?

So Sunday was a good day to drive straight back from WTD 8. Pre event we drove the Skyline from Front Royal and then conected to Blue Ridge Skyway. 550 miles of turns connected to other turns. This has gotta be the longest way to get to Fontanna but in mid April there was zero traffic and roads were a dream to drive (fast) Great practice for the NC roads around the Dragon. The Dragon was closed at one end which meant the road was almost a closed competition coarse except for the two State Police that also were cruising. Found out that the S2000 goes thru faster than almost all motorcycles. Anyone that missed the group roll out through the Dragon missed one heck of a drive. Expecting a slow parade type drive, my wife went along. Ha. The leaders found a virtually deserted road and the pace picked up. Way up and everyone followed suit. I am sure the chance for that large a group to rip through the Dragon as fast as we did will not come along again any time soon. And there were at least 4 Ontario cars there. Two from Toronto, one from Ottawa and myself from Tillsonburg. Anyway, on the way home we did the Smokie Mountain National park early in the morning and again found empty roads. Yes! From there it was back to reality and I-75 to get home in one day. Amasingly 90mph did not really stand out on the southern end of the Interstate. Taking this circular route added 2200 miles the odometer and was totally worth it.
