Visited Montreal & Tremblant this past wkend -PICS
went up there with my folks and fiancee... it's been almost 2 years since I last went, and certainly I have never been to Tremblant in the summer... It's just BEAUTIFUL!! And the drive from Montreal to Tremblant was a blast at night with no cars around... Wish i had the S with me... anyway.. here are some pics I took...
Tremblant village
View from the mountain top... look how small the village looks now..
Another nice view
Phone tower?!?! with the lift...
Fiancee and Me on "the Luge"... these things are fun!!! it's basically a plastic board on wheels, you control the brake and steering, racing downhill... pretty addictive..
In Montreal... one of the churches...
A fountain in a city park
Some other building
The beautiful Notre Dame
Carriages parked outside of Notre Dame
Last pic...

But everyone I have spoken with says the snow at Tremblant sucks ass.
The terrain sucks with long long long long flats, but the actual snow is pretty good I find.
It IS the coldest place in the world though; seriously, there is no where colder than the top of Tremblant in January. Retarded cold.
The snow would be meaningfully better than anything around here and on par with Killington and Stowe....Better than St Anne....
Relative to out west though - yes, it sucks....
Maybe ppl were complaining about ice on the windy days?
