URGENT - HIGH PITCH WHISTLE FROM BETWEEN EARS!!!
I filled up on gas and came home. I noticed this high pitch noise coming from the engine bay. So I pop the hood and it's high and loud!
I took the air intake cover off and the noise got even 2x louder. Took the air filter off and put my ear closer and it's coming from the intake. I'm 100% sure about it.
so I took the air intake off and cleaned it out and reassembled it and its still there.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
'03 with 21k, completely stock from day one.

A couple posts went missing.. strange.
Anyways.. it's OEM box and filter. it's happening at all times. I checked all vacuum hoses/connectors everything seems good.
No CEL's either.

Not the belt. Man the only way to describe it is like a "High intensity vibration" sounding like a high wine. when you snap the throttle cable a couple times it stops for split second then comes back.
When I put my ear up to the intake (without the filter on) you can hear it imminating from inside.
Came back from a boot, no CEL's
