BTW. I pulled my head off myself and reinstalled. I was charged ~$120 for the cleaning and inspection (all valves removed, cleaned, and put back together.
Pulling the head is quite easy as long as you have the manual of how to do it and a 12 pt socket for the bolts. If you need to borrow the socket just let me know.

Thanks for offering the socket. A lot of my issue out here is that all my tools are back in Vancouver haha (and more importantly, my parents' garage space).
I had no idea (but found out recently) that something as simple as changing out brake pads and rotors could be hundreds of dollars bringing it to a shop. All that's ever cost me in the past is a Saturday afternoon. Can't imagine how much this motor swap is going to be lol.

if anyone needs pads and rotors changed, i'll do it for $60 cash, and you supply the parts or i can get the parts for you for additional cost.I don't mark up on parts, what you pay is what i'm paying for them. just pm me.
