Default Updated tire info

Ok I had a talk with the Tire shop.

There is no way they can compete with the US if you're buying online and having them installed across the border. Their CDN buying price is in most cases more than the seling Tire Rack price after conversion. (Take bridgestone for example, the CDN and US List prices are different and the buying "cost" price is based on the list.) Some he can come close on but most he can't. He can however match and usually beat anyone local or Tire Rack when shipped here going through the taxes/brokerage process.

So if anyone want's a discount contact me VIA PM and I will give you the contact information.

yeah, you should just post the price of the two (16" S02 and 17" RE050)OE sets.

Have to double check on that. The "regular" bridgestone book didn't have the 215's listed.... However it should be in the OEM section book which he will get today or tomorrow.

Good idea.

I'll do that in the next day or so.

When Mike knew a guy in the tire business, we were able to get insane deals on OEM S02's..in fact it was even cheaper than what tire rack sells them for.

This was only a year and a half ago..it was based on dealer incentives and discounts given to them on volume.

If he's a big Bridgestone shop he probably can score better deals than if he's selling mostly Toyo.

I try to buy Canadian when I can, but if its total rape it. Tires are almost always a rip off up here.
