I think you really have to be behind /outside of the car to really get a good sense of the UK exhaust sound. The sound doesn't transmit to the driver seat completely.

Joey don't you have the CR exhaust modded? That IS a different style of muffler so I'm not surprised you'd get a different outcome. To be honest I wasn't 100% satisfied with my UK mod until I put a test pipe which really woke up the exhaust and made it alot louder and deeper, like a chainsaw!

There seems to be quite a bit of variability in the outcome. S2Jizzer's, by far, is the loudest UK mod I've ever heard and much louder than I would like it to be. Mine is slightly quieter than I want it to be but seems in keeping with most...but top down and WOT solves that problem. In terms of the quality of the exhaust note though, pure bliss.

Yes mine is the CR version. The sound increased a bit, but the tone didn't change much like it does on the base exhausts. Different muffler pipe routing and the CR exhaust is louder than the base exhaust in oem form to begin with. I'm keeping what I have though, not going to mess with the exhaust any more just for a bit more sound.

Thanks. I've never actually heard it from outside the car so this video is the first for me too.

Also, how do I embed the video?

I may consider doing the UK mod if I can't find a good price on an Invidia cat back exhaust
