Question Uh-oh rear tires are rubbing

I decided to give 255/35R18 on the rear from 245/35R18 and I now have a very seldom rub on the passenger side more so than the driver side. This rubbing occurs only when I go over a big dip in the road (which is quite often here in GTA!).

The car is lowered slightly also with some KG/MM springs and stock shocks.

What are my options here? Fender roll? More negative camber?

What are the dangers of having this rubbing issue?

fender roll or more negative camber will work in your case. You are probably best to get fenders rolled and tab relocated IMO

I'm reading that the tab relocation for the screw is pretty easy to DIY... but the fender roll I'm not too sure about. Do some people simply grind away a piece of the fender instead of the roll?

Dont cut or grind if you dont have to. It may lead to premature rusting or the heat from grinding/cutting may cause the paint to turn colour. Have Speedstar roll them if you dont want to take on the job yourself.

Speedstar did a nice job on s2kobsession's car

Is it possible that the tab relocation could possibly be enough to alleviate the rub?

I just installed my new rims and I am having the same issues you are having. Ive checked the inner fender and it does not look like the tire is hitting anything other than the tab. I think it depends on your situation but in my case it seems a tab relocation will do the trick. Take a look under there you should be able to tell where it is hitting.

Yea, Speedstar did an amazing job on my fenders. Nicely rolled and perfectly pulled. They will take care of the tab for you too and move it to an appropriate place.

that normal does the trick for my car but if you don't like feeling every bump on the road i say you go the other way and roll em or add more camber

It seems that its rubbing only around the tab on the rear bumper. The rubbing doesnt seem to reach the tab/screw itself but the bumper on the inside...

I assume that this is the part/piece that others have cut out?
