Default uh oh !

Need your help guys.. this morning on the way to work... my window had a little leak...

its the gap between the window and the convertible top... what can i do ? looks like water is seaping inbetween the gaps a little... nothing major but drops of water was entering.

Please tell me what to do guys.. thanks

Try to regrease the rubber seal with some ShinEtsu??? spelling? grease. It will help a bit.....

so basically use a rubber grease thingy and it will stop the leak? so just above the window seal ? where specifically

Yes, put grease all along the rubbers where the window touches when it is up, the grease helps the water from collecting and starts to drip inside. It happens to me and this seems to stop that.

Open and close the top a little and the window as well as grease, I had this once this summer, but never again, must have just been a bad latch job on the top.

Last resort:
You have an '00, right? Get the hardtop windshield strikers. These will allow the top to be pulled more tightly against the windshield. There was a TSB on this but your car may be too old to qualify. The strikers don't cost that much anyway.

Jonny got good news for you, I might be able to get the rear lip, but the wait will be long. I will get back to u when i have a confirmed answer.

I suffered with wind noise for 90% of the winter. I tried everything to snug the top down better. I already had the hardtop strikers. I didn't have any leaks mind you but that wind noise was giving me a headache.

Slapped on some shinitsu grease after i got back from ohio and the noise was GONE... that stuff is amazing. I wish I could have gotten some earlier.
