And Nimesh you will get used to the blower. You have to restart your learning curve to your new setup. No biggie. Just can't expect to do it in one track session.
yeah i know...it's the nature of shannonville.

it was incredibly quick on the nelson config....but that only has a couple of turns...and none of them sweepers where i had to worry about power delivery.

i'd love to try mosport as i don't have a top-end limitation.

Nimesh, you were fast as hell on Nelson, it was fun watching you just rip it down the straights.

And I was thinking of the 4.56 gears, but I can't decide. I need to go for a ride in Marco's car to decide.

At the end of it all, everyone was so much faster, damn we've come far.

Time to join the Buddy's Club.

Rob's right, I was really impressed with everyone's ability. Even since the last school.

Except for Toosteeley...no idea what the he was doing out there hehe

Anyhow, we're getting where we wanna be and it worked a lot of issues out ...lets move forward into something new.

The Saab school had what? 1 saab? hehe lets never let the S2000 school end up like that.

Unless I'm gone to something else, then you all.

guys, let's take this track thing seriously.

i'm just trying to figure out the why it's $210 for SAAB....

according to the groupings we were given, there were 28 cars registered - that's 6300 (incl. GST).

track = 3895 (incl. GST)
lunch = 750 ($15 x 50 people, incl. taxes, delivery, set-up)
liquids = 100 (incl. taxes)
misc. = 100 (incl. taxes)
total = 4845...give or take a few hundred (lunch may be more)
insurance = balance???

yeah, i guess it's about right.....

we would/could/have to save on the food and everyone can bring their own water, gatorade, or pop.

the misc. stuff would include printing, wrist bands, flags, coffee, timbits, etc.

Not sure if they do anything for the instructors or not.

I know they partner with Sunocco and they get free gas, I'm sure the track time is gratis.

I doubt Derrek is free?

check the sheet...i think there were 28 entrants/drivers.

i launched mine last night....

maybe there is no GST on the track rental? if so, that's a savings of 250 bucks....

Nimesh,

Last year the school was $190. This year it was $215. Blake attributed 100% of the cost increase to a quadrupling of insurance rates, so 25x28 x 4/3 = $930 for insurance for the day.

The rest is profit . . .

Still no idea what Derrek takes out of it.

He must do his instruction as a business..it only makes sense
