Thanks for the kind words guys.. Don't get us wrong, we enjoyed putting events together, and in our own way trying to make this one to the closest knit groups anywhere.. but the time has come to pass it off..

Hell I organized the very first group meet 4 years ago. Vince and I set the stage for the 2 main drives of the year, and did our thing here as well, but its time for new blood to bring new ideas and enthusiasm to the group.

I imagine Vince and I will still lend a hand if needed, and I know that I would like to investiage that condo thing in blue mountain thing a little more. But what we really need as a group is a couple guys to take over, and bring some freshness back.

I truely hope a few will step up to the plate..

It is a rewarding posistion, as both Vince and I have taken pride in what we have done it the past, and were happy to see everyone together having fun.

I look forward to the exciting things to come.

Indeed there will be significant expectations but I do warn you that I do not have Vince's Corporate Connections so people may not so be inclined to give "us" the deals , the time.. yadda yadda yadda as well I'm a single father so in reality, i may plan an event, but at certain times, may not attend due to "daddy duties" Once we're all clear with that, i have no problem inheriting and doing all of Vince's and Mike's dirty work :-) heh heh

Okay nuff said..

Simon, I tip my hat to you and your honesty; go for it!

So, who else wants to step up and give Simon a hand?

I also have to say, my role in TO is rather weird, I feel as much a part of TO as I do of Upstate, in fact it was because TO was such a great group that I was motivated to ask cthree if I could start an Upstate region. Like Vince and Mike, I'm always here to help, although from afar, if I can.

Very aggressive schedule Simon, my hats off to you for offering your services. I've been down that road and know the dedication and love of a sport that it takes to tackle such a task.

You have my full support.

I hope this would be an "optional" meet !!!

Seriously, I don't know of anyone within the Toronto S2Ki community who is as interconnected as Simon. If there was anyone who has the enthusiasm to fill Vince and Mike's shoes, he's probably our man.

I look forward to what new energy you plan on bringing to the forum.
