Default throttle blip... almost stalling

so i just did my oil change and started it up. everythng seems and sounds fine except for one thing.
when i blip the throttle while idling, it revs then almost stalls. doesnt stall but gets really close before it goes back to normal idle :/

i dont have any CELs
Anyone know what the problem may be?

Do an idle re-learn procedure, it should straighten out the idle.

Get the engine fully warm, then shut it off. Pull the battery cable or ecu re-set fuse for a few seconds, I always do the battery cable but either work. Reconnect battery or fuse. Make sure all of your electrical accessories are turned off - radio, ventilation, lights, drl's (pull up e-brake if you have drl's). Start up the car and let it idle for at least 5 minutes without touching the throttle at any point. Shut off the engine after 5 minutes. That should stabilize your idle setting, it just helps the ecu learn the idle air flow conditions of your engine and it can better control the IAC valve.

If the problem continues to occur into the future you may need to clean your IAC valve, but start with the idle re-set first.

Interesting first point, I was going to say the latter, but good info here

Chances are you pulled your battery over winter? Problem should straighten itself out

If you have your manual it might be stuck in there. Mine was stuck on the inside of my trunk

If not, give Honda a call, they'll give it to you
