Default Tear in Soft Top

What have you guys used/put to address on the inside of the soft top issue over the right rear side tear issue?

Thanks..

Well I think you still have a couple options, you can contact Canadian Dealerships about doing warranty work on an american car (i think someone had a thread about that in this forum you can check with him if he found one), cause techniqually the dealer would still get paid since its warranty work. Or take it to a Canadian dealer who has fixed this issue and pay them to fix the issue. Or file down the parts that cause the tear yourself, which you can find instructions from Zoomkat on the 05-09 Convertible Top Tears thread. Or just take it to a Buffalo dealership. Since I got my car from the states as well, I will probaly be taking my car to a Buffalo dealership sometime this summer. Hope this helps.

I use auto goop (will stick anything to anything... seriously) and this material that you can buy at walmart for mending tears.

It's the kind that you can get to mend material and you iron on...

It's held up well. If i see wear marks I also do this so it doesn't actually wear thru.

and the automotive goop from canadian tire in the like automotive glue section.

Just ask someone for it. It comes in a red and white tube.
