stubborn virus
Alright, I've been battling this ugly bug in my computer for a while.
Norton / AVG / Kaspersky - cannot remove it!
It's a low risk bug, yet cannot be removed
Everytime it tries to scan / open the file, the program would freeze, even windows explorer.
Norton called it bloodhound.pack.7 or something like that, in dmcos.exe (random), while I remember AVG called it another trojan file name.
Can anyone give me some leads as of how I can remove this bugger

That's why I need an external HD!
That's the only method it seems.

I'm still into the tigerdirect.ca for stuff like that
and unless you find some smoking deal on an external HD somewhere, you'd be more economical putting your own together like was said, buying an internal harddrive and an enclosure and assembling your own. If you're intimidated, it's really not hard. 2 cables connections and they only fit in their appropriate locations.
You should be able to pick up or assemblean external drive for around $130-160

Ok, so I go buy an enclosure + internal HD, is that what you are saying?
But I would still need USB accessibility since this is for my laptop.
BTW, how do you paritition it so I don't lose data? I have no clue.
I should've paid attention in my grade 11 comp / tech class!
