Right now I have only used it on a friction pad that sits on the dash. Works fine in my Volvo; not so well in the S (take a corner fast or accelerate quickly and the thing goes flying). So Ive ordered a RAM mount, which will hardmount it on an arm that I will attach to the rear bolt that holds the passenger foot well net in place. The unit will unclip easily when Im not using it so it wont get stolen...

Too intrusive.

I love toys as much as the next person, hell I may even live my life by them...but thats too in the way man.

Let me put the "in the way" in perspective.

I have had my car for almost a year. I have never had a person in the passenger seat. Well actually I did once. It took my wife almost 6 months to get a ride, which lasted all of 10 minutes. I could rip that seat out entirely and never even notice!

hmmm :rubschin:, if you did rip out the passenger seat, you could carry my r compounds......I say do it .
