Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay in updates, have been logging some serious hours on the build and it's turning out very nice. You can find regular updates in Modified Magazine as well.

Here are a few quick pics of some recent progress. Chassis mounted wing setup with removable Challenge carbon trunk, with wing in place is complete.

there are filler pieces that seal up the exposed area next to the wing uprights.

Custom adjustable front control arm mounts are complete (adjustable anti dive percentage, roll center height)

We even fitted the subframe to finalize the exhaust routing and while we were at it test fitted the new Advan TCIII's with Advan 280/650/18 slicks. 18 * 11 +15 offset, still has room to spare in the J's GT aero package.

Right now we have completed the fuel system which will be covered in next months Modified Mag, stay tuned for all the details on that but for now here are a few quick teaser pictures.

Full blown in tank dual pump setup

Integrated Engineering surge tank with dual Bosch 044 pumps. The manifold setup makes for a very clean install with minimal lines/fittings

custom Auto Analyser Performance evap delete vent with rollover check valve and discriminator valve to prevent fuel loss out of the vent during track use.

Exhaust will be center mounted through the lower opening in the J's GT rear bumper. Needed to make some room to clear the diffuser, tunnel is turning out nicely.

Thanks,

Andrew, curious as to where I can find some info about the 996tt build :)

Andrew Wojteczko 11-03-2011 06:13 AM

996TT build details will be made available soon. It is complete and I think has captured the essence of a modified performance street car. Starting with a fantastic engine certainly made reaching these goals while maintaining excellent drivability and reliability relatively easy.
