Default Speeding Ticekt (Pay fine or write test)

First speeding ticket ever

15kph over (65 in a 50)

No points, just a fine of $52.

The test to wipe it is $100

Is it worth the extra $48 to have it wiped or should I just pay the fine and be done with it?

Does 15 over affect insurance?

Write the test Jay, keep your record clean.... you get a freebie.

My friend who works for Aviva Canada sais...a ticket, is a ticket, is a ticket. No matter how fast your going on a speeding violation it will affect your record, regardles of the number of points. Insurance companys dont look at the points, just the number of minor and major tickets youve had.

Ya maybe I'll just get it wiped.

Dude, the plate can't be in the window. She made me go back home and put it on the bumper since I was just around the corner to avoid a fine.

I know, the rules state it must be on the front bumper of the car. Really it depends on the cop if he/she wants to hassle you about it. Ill wait until i get hassled......

yeah, your much better off to get the ticket wiped...then you'll have a clean record again!

I think I will just do that, and write the test.

I had the same exact ticket over a year ago in the rsx in the same ing spot for 79 in a 50. (Didn't learn the first time i guess) I wrote the test on that one since it was 3points and a hefty fine.

The 4th option is usually only in small communities.

It must be offered to you. However I have decided to write the test.
