H, final standings don't illustrate consistency....
i think that's what nabs was aluding to.
if a driver came in 3rd in every race, he would finish with 108 points.
that still wouldn't beat barrichello's 114 in 2004...who had 2 wins, 2 DNF's and 2 other non-podium finishes.
trulli did outscore FA in 6 races last year....and FA outscored JT in 8 races.
i can't remember, but why did JT not score any points in the last 8 races??
(maybe there was no "reason", per se)

Below are 2004 standing, race to race. As you can clearly see, JT did nothing after it was publicily shown the Flav did not like him and wanted him out.

Sorry Doug, I have to agree with Nabeel on this one....JT was consistently in front of FA until Flav wanted him gone (but I would not be surprised if Flav goes to Toyota)....
