God I hate quali now...quali used to be magical and it's just ridiculous now. I wish Max would swallow his pride and adopt the Moto GP quali format

I'm all for banning refuelling and allowing tyre-changes. They'll be forced to run less downforce to compensate for the heavier load. That should make for spectacular final stints when drivers are on fresh tyres, lighter cars with less downforce so they're biased more towards mechanical grip.
and isn't refuelling more dangerous than changing the tires???

So ban the safer part of the pit stop (changing the tires) yet put the drivers at risk.

Keep the dangerous part of the pit stop (refueling) and make the driver stop more often for fuel only...

Safety?

[QUOTE=ITR Racer,May 9 2005, 10:03 AM] Tyre rule sucks, no doubt.

Flav still hasn't signed for Renault

Fernando Alonso signed a 1 year deal (for '06 only) with Renault..

Has 'em up in arms over at Renault .. as they may potentially lose both he and Flav shortly

Alonso is thinking Ferrari if Schuey calls its quits in '06.. which at the moment the prancing horse would be Alonso and kimi (cuz Todt loves the Fin) for 07..

You would almost think that based upon #2, #1 would happen.

I know Flavio has been thinking of getting out, but what I read is it was motivated by the extreme desire to win, and as things are looking now, Renault + FA seems like a darn good combo for that end result.

I'm getting more and more impressed by JT. Every race he seems to get better. He is easily outscoring and outracing RS and did the same to ALonso last year. I wonder how good he really is!

Whatever...

I agree he is good but out drove FA? Yea like BAR is better than Renault... And what about that little situation that caused him to loose his seat at Renault...
