So last week i was on vacation and did a 12 day Europe Trip and toured from Rome-Venice-Lucerne-Rome-London. All i can say is wow, ive never been to Europe before and must i say it kicks ass. Hell expensive everywhere though. I toured with Trafulgar Tours and i think its the only way to go if you want to see alot of places in short amount of time.

My trip ended in London England, and guess what happend 5 hours before I got out of the bus and into my Hotel? Yeah, I just missed the bombings...and get this, my Hotel was on the same city block as the Kings Cross Station. That first day was just madness, im lucky i didnt get there the day before. Probably would have been riding that train. I have to give my appreciation for the Londoners though. The Next Day people were out like normal, riding the subway and the busses were full again.







Oh prior to all this i stumbled across Live 8 in Rome....too bad the only group i was able to recognize was Duran Duran

Nice to hear you had a good time. Eurpoe is quite a nice place but with the value of the pound and the Euro compared to the CDN dollar we get raped over there. THere is however lots to see and do!

Sat beside the CEO of a mjr Cdn media co on the plane awhile back. He went to Oxford and stayed in student housing.

He went back a few months ago and saw his old building and his old flat was up for sale (not student housing anymore).

It was $5MM US. He cannot afford to own the place where he lived when he was a student!
