Default So after the cruise

I realized that I was the only one without the OEM Windscreen LOL. I read up on it and it seems like it really does make a difference.

I am in the process of sourcing one out. I do have one question and I am hoping someone here can help me out.

I am trying to find out how the windscreen is attached to the plastic panel. Basically I want to know if I can buy the windscreen by itself and install it or if I have to get it already attached to the secret compartment.

Would someone mind taking a look and letting me know please

It would be muchly appreciated

I am attaching a pic of what I mean

Its easy to install. Look under the compartment lid, you'll see where you'll have to drill the 2 holes.

I have the full size one from Ricks and it helps alot. I find it moves with the wind alot when on the highway.. so i made suporting brackets to hold it in place. I'll post a pic of what i mean tonight.

These seem to sell on a daily basis. Keep your eyes open for it. You have all winter.

I already found two guys selling it.

one is with the secret compartment and the other ones is without. Just trying to decide which one to buy

so I would have to drill into my existing compartment?

some you find for sale will just be the glass without the black plastic base that attaches to the secret compartment lid.

From what you've said, it sounds like you need the whole unit (glass and black base) to screw into the secret compartment lid. There should be holes in the lid already but maybe not with a my00, I dunno.

If you need mine to measure out where the holes go let me know
