I appreciate him putting those silencers back in! The noise was killing my instructor and I during the first run of the morning!

Hi Guys, first post, just signed up to give a big thanks to Mike for flashing his lights behind me in the highway... yes it was my silencer that shot out at 200k per hour on the 401.

I stopped and got it back.. a little banged up but hey, I managed to hammer it back into shape the next day

Glad I didn't do any damage, but after all a SAAB school without incident just isn't a SAAB school right.

I saw it... by a freak chance I just looked in my rear view (probably because all the S's were on my ass all day at Shannonville ) I need a faster car.

Yep, it flew like a rocket. I felt really bad and hoped it didn't hit you. I just didn't screw it in tightly enough at the Sunoco after the track. I won't make that mistake again!

if it hit your front bumper you could have gotten the 04 one to match the 04 rear your gonna get.

Glad nothing happened guys, that would have sucked.

I was in the lead group, I was wondering where you guys went.

THAT is exactly what I was afraid would happen to me - Im having trouble keeping the nuts for my silencers on! I pulled them out for a few days because I was worried about sending them up the nostrals of the person behind me....

But the noise, good god the noise..... people were staring at me while I drove the car was so loud and whenever I was in my neighborhood I tippytoed around in the car..not worth it..

So, I took coathanger, cut it into two two inch pieces, bent each 90degrees at the halfway mark and jammed those through each of the silencer holes. I then vice griped them down so each end is tight to the inside and outside of the exhaust. Works well. Wont loosen on me and doesnt rattle.

Also, the vibrations with no silencer was doing some crazy sheit to the back of my car. At 5K, all hell would rattle back there..I think it was all the bolts in my car loosening up....Madness I tell you, Madness....life is better with the silencers in with the pins Ive rigged up
