No, it's my '90 CRX-Si

The Viper was stock, my CRX-Si has had some suspension mods and we figure all of abpout 125 ponies. The Viper was fast as hell in a straight line, but his sheer velocity worried him and he would get on the brakes early, and the CRX-Si would catch up. Through the corners he was not able to get the power down due to a lack of smoothness and so much power and he was timid in order to keep the rear planted. With a 2000 pound CRX-Si under braking I would close in on him at a frightening rate. Once I got buy him by taking a late point by corner after corner I inched away. He passed me several times on the back straight but I would catch right back up and pass him downhill. Eventually I got out far enough he just never could catch up.

After the 35 minute session I went to find him in the garage, he was a great guy, we laughed our asses off over what had happened. And trust me when I say, at the next school he had started to mod out the Viper...

From what I have heard the stock bottom line viper brakes are not adequate for track events. I remember the same outcome at a saab school with a viper and my rsx.
