Thumbs down Rotational Noise!

Description: rotational noise that's coming from the front, or the transmission.

I did some tests to locate the noise

1. The noise's pitch increases with the car's speed.(direct relationship)
2. Sounded like Hubs/bearing, so replaced both rear sides hub/bearings(only rear)
3. The sound was still there, so replaced rear diff(today)
4. Sound still there with new diff. Mechanic told me it could be the transmission.
When stationary, I turn on the engine, i hear some grinding sound. When i press on the clutch pedal, the grinding sound goes away. When clutch pedal is released, the grinding sound returns.
5. So as I was coming back from the shop, I was going 60km/h, I turned off the engine to see if it was the transmission. Cruising at 60km/h down to 40km/h with engine off, sound is still there.

WHERE IS THIS SOUND COMING FROM????!??!!?!??!?!G;HFGA;SLKDFHA;SLKDFJ

Throw out bearing and it's pretty much normal. Stop nit picking every little sound. This is a noisy car like I told you.

If every little tiny sound is going to bother you I would suggest another car

BTW is that nasty sound when turning left gone now with the new dif?

Yap, that's completely gone. I got a whole rear end done...i got a good deal off someone and it was easier to install the entire part from an 05 since i wanted to fix the CV vibration as well.

I think the rotational noise has to be from the front of the car... transmission seems to be ok since it makes this sound when the engine's off anyways...

It wouldn't explain it going away when you push the clutch pedal to the floor.

It's not coming from the front of the car. It's the TO bearing and it's normal.

I drove your car and it's NOT a loud noise lol.

Dude.. just leave it.. there's nothing wrong it's just noisy.

You have to remove the transmission to change that bearing. Just wait until you need a new clutch.

It's the whining sound i get... i don't know if the rotational sound is related to this..but seems like my transmission rebuild is coming up.

The sound of those worn bearings wouldn't go away when you push your clutch pedal down as you described.
