Default RIP. B. Nowicki
This past Thursday night my grandfather passed away. He lived in Poland and was my last grandparent. He was a famous painter in Poland, his work was internationally known, and he was a recepient of numerous awards and nominations.

To me however he was a caring man who tought me about horses and shared in my love and admiration of them. He tought me about compasion. He tought me that life is precious. He shared with me stories of when he was in a pow camp and what it ment to be able to come home.

He was a good man and he will be missed.

the distance between a grandchild and a grandparent cannot be filled by parents.

Sounds like he lived a rich life, even though some of it was anything but.

It sounds like you both had a great relationship, I'm sure that made him happier then you will ever know.
