Red interior swap
I would like to start off by saying hi to everyone here in southern ontario s2k owners, i just have a quick question I am thinking of purchasing 2005 GPW S2K and it is just the way I want the car to be. The only thing is the tan interior I want the interior to be red how hard and how much would it cost to get the Red interior in there. I am very particular with my car so that is the reason why I would want it Red.

...So there is FULL Red- red door panels, carpet, dash, seats, rollbar covers etc.
And there is red/black- red seats, black carpet, black dash, black door panel with red insert. And this differs slightly from AP1 to AP2. I believe the AP1 has full red seats, where the AP2 has red seats with a black middle? Or Black seats with a red middle i can't remember...
And there is just all black interior, with red seats.
The FULLLLLL red is nearly impossible to find used, and if you see any you'll be in a bidding war for it.
The black/red is not as hard to find, it comes up every once and awhile.
Does the car you're looking at only have tan seats? What other parts of the interior are tan?
It may be easy to change over time as you find parts, or if it's nothing major it may be an easy find. The red seats or red/black seats come up for sale used every couple of months or so. If the only thing stopping you from buying the car is the tan interior, it's not too hard of a change really.

Not trying to put anyone down or anything here but i as well as many other people ive spoken too dislike the ALL red interior, i believe it to be an overkill. The black and red interior looks much better IMO. Tan on gpw is also verrrry nice id keep it if i were you, it might grow on you.
