Default Rear window plastic -> glass ??

Its me again...

I was looking around the forums and came across some guy who's selling his '00 S2K, but he's somehow managed to change to an '02 softtop with glass window.

Just wondering if anyone's heard of, or actually done, this... any ideas how much it would cost?

I'm asking simply because the only reason I would buy an '02 or an '03 over a slightly-used '01 is the glass window... then again, I don't know very much about the changes that Honda made to the S2K's every year - perhaps I'm missing out on some important info!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

i say just get a hardtop... the only reason I can see for a glass window is if you drive your S in the winter.. other then that, its just a cover for rainy days.

Honda in Japan are advertising this change .... but it is pretty expensive (about US$1500 - 2000 I think). It is certainly possible, but pretty expensive just for a glass rear screen .....

I live in London, Ontario, and the S2000 would be my only car... summer and winter... so the glass rear window is pretty much a necessity, not just something to make the car look pretty
