Random items under the hood!
Ok folks I'm going to start an interesting thread. Talk about and/or show us random items you have found or have come across inside the engine bay. I'll start off as I found two items at different times. 2 months ago I found a bolt sitting right behind the bumper ontop of the factory cooling plate. I still can't figure out where the hell it came from, it looks like one of the fender bolts, but I haven't seen any place on the car let alone in the engine bay thats missing one...yet.
*edit* Just found out where the hell the bolt came from, underneath the bumper! I have a mugen lip that was covering the hole. Lip was cracked and had the bodyshop fix it for free when they resprayed my fenders. Guess they did a damn shit job on putting it back together.

And tonight I found this rusted out bit set sitting underneath the battery, wtf!?

I bought the car in Dec. and it was previously being sold by Acura Downtown and then by my friend who is a dealer; from whom I purchased the car. Guess the detailers missed it! And since they are rusted out I'd say they've been there awhile.

Found the most random things ever in the car.
Also found a picture of Jesus, a picture of a Hindu God, a dealerships business card, a couple of cigarette butts, and a hairbrush...

*edit* just ordered a new one off Amazon. I inquired from the local dealership and they quoted me $61 for the filter alone!!!! Even with shipping I'm only paying $22 for a generic one.

I dropped the front subframe last summer to put in a new block. I managed to find all of the bolts,nuts,spring clamps, and sockets that I lost over the last three years in the black hole known as this engine bay
