Default Radiator - coolant leak

Hey guys, I started to notice a burning smell inside the cabin when I drive with some white smoke coming from the driver side underneath the hood. I did some research and ppl pointed that it's coolant related. I didn't have time to head out to speedstar , so I dropped it off at a stealership. They called me back and said the leak was related to the radiator and that it would cost about $1200 after tax. Does this seem right to you guys?

the radiator or related to the radiator? Sounds about right for a dealership price.

I would DIY but thats just me. Nows a good time to upgrade to a bigger radiator, altough probably not necessary for a stock s2k.

Oh, how I wish I was handy. I guess if an aftermarket one is cheaper, I should go with that route instead. Thanks dudes, time to give speedstar a call.

Does replacing a radiator include flushing out the anti-freeze, or is it not necessary to replace the fluids?

For something like a radiator, never goto a dealership. DIY, Speedstar, or fellow-S2Ki-ers would be the best route!

My mishimoto rad was under 310+ tax from teknotik.
Ivan at igarage.ca did the install the next day.

You can go to speedstar, but you're going to pay more.
