For a very long time I have been a huge proponent of Ethanol Energy. If the US and Canada joined together as a unified power and set our minds to crowing corn we would shift the power on the oil cartel like people can not imagine. CART runs their cars on alcohol so there is no reason to believe this would not be a viable alternative to our dependency on foreign oil.
Here is a perfect example of Bush.

Biodiesel has a lot of potential as well.
Regardless, 4 more years of crappy foreign policy will make America a less safe place, regardless of how many pairs of sneakers and how many bags you screen at the airport.
