no, it was the advertised special, plus i had to pay duty and canadian taxes when i registered/imported it into canada - 20% on top of the cost of the car
but, in canada, the S2000 is a $50,000 car....so it's well worth doing, IMO.

Can't really go by US pricing here in Canada, the S2k is much more. Unless of course you want to import a used car that might get you a better deal as well. The car is fairly "rare" here but not so "rare" in the US.
Let's be realistic, offering him $29 might be a good move, you might not get it or you might, no harm in trying!
The thing is the dealers KNOW that they will sell this car at $32k it's just a matter of time. Find YOUR happy place and stick with it.

Good news my patience is paying off,
I'm going to see a Silver MY01 with 40Km on Saturday. The guys was asking $31500 a few weeks ago an now he's willing to do $29000 firm. He is receiving his Porshe 911 very shorty and need to get rid of his S2k quick (No more room in the garage apparently).
