Donno about the price of an 00, but a silverstone 04 with funky custom rugs and coiloveres and a mugen exhaust goes for about $32K around here...

I think that there is already one such car with about 45k km on it.....

marc, the price swing on the board is usually $5,000.

for example, somone will say that car X is worth 30,000 and then i'll chime and say it's worth 25,000.

hence the reluctance to post in this thread.

nonetheless, if you have some specific examples, share them here and we'll try and help you out.
Thanks for your help!! I found one in Niagara Fall with 30000km in mint condition (the guy apparently parked in on carpet in his garage) for $32000. The dealer says he can squeeze $500 off the price but that's it. Considering the wholesale value of this car should be from $26000 - $28000 shouldn't I have a little more room to negotiate?

all that stuff is worth about $500-700.

if you're truly serious, tell 'em you'll buy it NOW for $29K....see what they say.

personally, i always base my used prices in relation to new.

i.e. i'd rather pay 50,000 (less some sort of discount) than $32,000 for a 4-5 year old car.

we're talking $18K + taxes difference - but everyone's situation is different.

good luck!!

I just bought a 2002 S' off of eBay with 11K miles on it, new rear tires, and they did the 15K checkup. I paid $22,850 USD.

That's what I was thinking of offering him...my max being 30K. Trust me...if I wasn't getting married and buying a house this year, I know a dealer in Toronto getting a new 2002 from Honda Canada, no mileage ,full warranty for $39K. Unfortunatly I can't convince to spend that much money this year.

Have you checked out hardtopguy yet? http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/customer/home.php

I don't know what they can do in Canada, but he might have some ideas. They are advertising a new 2004 S' for $30,995 USD
